Mohair Yarn - 25g/Ball
A soft, warm yarn with a beautifully lush halo — timeless neutral colours that pair effortlessly with any colourway and suits classic, heirloom-style knitting.
A beautifully airy blend of 80% mohair and 20% wool, this lace-weight yarn combines mohair's signature halo with just enough wool structure to give the fabric body and warmth. Light enough for delicate work, yet substantial enough for everyday wear.
Whether knitted on its own or held together with another yarn, it produces a soft, luminous fabric with lovely depth — ideal for garments and accessories you'll want to wear season after season.

The Common Threads Difference
All yarns at Common Threads are thoughtfully sourced from end-of-mill runs, discontinued collections and surplus production. Rather than allowing these beautiful fibres to go to waste, we carefully source and curate them for makers who value quality, sustainability and slow fashion.
Because these yarns come directly from the mill, they are supplied without retail labels. Every lot is unique, and many are available only once — making your finished project just that little bit more special.
We happily accept back-orders and will always do our best to source the same or a comparable yarn where possible.
Please note that colours may vary slightly between screens.
